Modern Apothecary Bottles

Modern Apothecary

After working with Lisa on the rebrand of her men’s skincare range Rehab London, she wanted me to be involved in her new range of skincare aimed at women.

The new branding needed to have shelf presence and stand out in a saturated marketplace. The simple, clean label and packaging design reflected the natural ingredients of the cacay oil and be seen as medicine for the skin.

Charlotte was recommended to me to design from concept to shelf brand designs that were strong enough to penetrate a competitive market. Her results, insight and abilities were outstanding and integral to the success of both my brands

Rehab London

Lisa contacted me after a recommendation as she was after a Graphic Designer to help with updating her existing brand of men’s skincare –Rehab London.

Lisa wanted to change the logo to be more inline with the skincare range being natural ingredients and not full of synthetic additives.  I simplified and changed the typeface to be clean and modern and included the strapline – Naturally Active Men’s Skincare.

Lisa also wanted to make clear that her products aren’t tested on animals, so I came up with a line to appear above the product description – Tested on Men, Not Animals.

“I was referred to Charlotte to redesign my brand and have been very happy with her work. She’s the first designer I have worked with that can do copyright layout as well as the design visuals. We are now working with Charlotte for a new brand launch and the work has been outstanding.”

Kind Ecological Cleaning Products

I was contacted in February 2016 by French company Nature & Stratégie Groupe who specialise in private label manufacturer of certified organic hygiene products. Their brand of ecological household cleaning products ‘Etamine du Lys’ is the industry leader in France. They wanted to rebrand and launch the products in the UK but felt the current French branding would need to change to appeal to the UK market.

I was flown over to meet with the client at their manufacturing HQ in Somloire, in the heart of the Loire Valley. Their interest in the environment goes further than the products they produce, the building itself is listed by UNESCO as a World heritage site and was built with the environment in mind by only using renewable materials. The building was impressive and gave me a good sense of the companies beliefs and vision which would give me direction for the new branding.

The stages involved in the project included; name generation, logo creation and development, packaging label design and creation of brand guidelines. After initial research, 24 proposed names, six logo options and two different illustration styles the final logo and label design was approved with a planned launch of 2017.
